What is Art?

Modern thought is skeptical about our ability to define art, especially given the many exotic forms of contemporary art. Does this feel unsatisfactory to you? Join us on Tuesday, November 11th at 7 pm, as Fr. Anselm Ramelow, O.P. presents a very substantial definition of art, which is nevertheless able to account for different art forms. Fr. Anselm is one of the professors of philosophy at our own Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology, where he teaches our Dominican student brothers.
