We’re participating in the 2025 CROP Hunger Walk to help families who are struggling with hunger. We’re asking you to join us – with your steps and your donations – to provide more meals for the growing number of people in our community who need them and greater food security in communities around the world.
The CROP Hunger Walk brings people together to build awareness and raise money to help those in need around the world. Our steps symbolize the daily journey others must make for food and clean water. Help us to raise funds to support programs that provide meals in our community, disaster relief, development projects, and long-lasting solutions to hunger everywhere. Join us for a special pilgrimage to two significant Dominican sites in the Bay Area! We’ll visit St. Dominic’s in San Francisco and St. Albert’s Priory in Oakland, home to the house of studies for the Western Dominican Province.
Our tour will be led by Fr. Bart Hutcherson, O.P., pastor of the Catholic Community at Stanford, who will share insights into Dominican spirituality and history at both locations.
What makes this day even more special? November 15th is the feast day of St. Albert the Great, making it the perfect time to visit the priory dedicated to this great Dominican saint and Doctor of the Church.
