St. Raymond Youth Ministry

Middle and high school:

The youth group meets every Sunday right after the 5PM Mass.
After dinner and games, the middle schoolers and high schoolers split.
The Confirmation program is integrated in the youth group.
 
The sessions are a mix of fun evenings (paint night, ice skating, Mass on the beach), service projects, guest speakers, and lessons on the Catholic faith. 
 
We will start with a kick-off BBQ on Sept. 21st at 6PM.
We will have a sleep away retreat on Nov. 14-16 in the beautiful Redwood Christian Park, nestled in the Santa Cruz mountains.
We will close with a day on the beach in May and a mission trip in June (TBC).

Welcome to BEAST – (Be A Saint)
We’re not called to be average. We’re called to be holy—bold, joyful, and alive in Christ. Every week, we’ll grow in faith, serve others, tackle big questions, and build real friendships.
Are you ready to go BEAST mode?

Weekly Themes:

BEAST Salt and Light –  Games, dinner, talk and small groups, and prayer

BEAST Hot Topic Debates â€“ Guest-led topic nights 

BEAST Service Nights â€“ Monthly local service missions

BEAST Games â€“ Chill social nights with food and games or ice skating, beach, etc.

  • + 2 special events:

BEAST Retreat â€“ sleep away profound encounter with God and filled with fun in the Santa Cruz mountains, Nov. 14-16

BEAST Mission Trip â€“ 10 days of service, daily Mass and prayers, and fun on the beach in June 2026 (For students enrolled in 9th through 12th grade in the 2025-26 school year)
