St. Raymond Youth Ministry

Welcome to BEAST – (Be A Saint)
We’re not called to be average. We’re called to be holy—bold, joyful, and alive in Christ. Every week, we’ll grow in faith, serve others, tackle big questions, and build real friendships.
Are you ready to go BEAST mode?

The youth group meets every Sunday right after the 5PM Mass.

2 special events:

          BEAST Service Trip –5 days of service, daily Mass and prayer, and plenty of fun!
When: June 13–19, 2026
Where: Eastern Shore, VA
Who: Students currently in 8th–12th grade

          BEAST Retreat – We had our first ever sleep away retreat, with 37 youth and young adults chaperones! We had an amazing time encountering God in nature and in one another. Highlights of the weekend are: the Reconciliation Sacrament in the woods, healing prayer, small group discussions where we shared our vulnerabilities and hopes, hike to the cross (a 4 miles hike!), an all the games too.

Weekly Themes:

BEAST Salt and Light –  Games, dinner, talk, small groups, and prayer

BEAST Hot Topic Debates – Guest-led topic nights 

BEAST Service Nights – Monthly local service missions

BEAST Games – Chill social nights with food and games or ice skating, beach, etc.
