About Us

Welcome to St. Raymond

We are a Catholic church nestled in Menlo Park, California. The parish greets the community with a beautiful rose garden and a contemporary cathedral-inspired design. Since 1950 we have been home to decades of sacramental memories including weddings, baptisms, first communions, confirmations and celebrations of the end of life. The St. Raymond Parish community is devoted to our faith. The community is made up of singles, families, students, young and old, united by a common cause to worship God as one spiritual family and to serve the greater community.

Our church is committed to inspiring parishioners as intentional disciples of Jesus Christ who are prepared to preach the Gospel in the 21st century.

And we’re growing! Are you considering a Christian community where the faith is not just spoken but lived? If so, come share your ideas with us. Please visit us–we will save you a pew at our next Mass, and look forward to welcoming you into our community.

Please take a look around this website to learn more about our ministries, Mass times, service opportunities, and the community we’re building here. If you’d like, feel free to register, or just join us at one of our upcoming Masses and events. After Mass, please feel free to stay for donuts and meet your fellow parishioners. We look forward to seeing you!

St. Raymond Parish has two principal advisory boards reporting to our pastor:

Pastoral Council

The purpose of the Pastoral Council is to strengthen the enthusiastic faith of all parishioners, as they live their faith in Jesus and freely share it with others. This advisory leadership team helps maintain the integrity of the parish mission and pastoral work through effective planning, so that parish life and activity is brought into a deeper connection with the Gospel.

The council’s focus is on seven elements of parish life: evangelization, worship, faith formation, community, social outreach, administration, and stewardship.

Parish Council Charter

  • Lori Mirek (Chair), Lindsay Craig, Karyn Leahy, Chris Terndrup, Stephanie Howard

Finance Council

The purpose of the Finance Council is to assist the pastor in the administration of parish temporal matters. The council promotes the financial health of the parish, assures accountability and assists the pastor with his temporal responsibilities. The Finance Council meets monthly.

  • Patrick Green (Chair), Jane Ananyi, Dave Brenner, Caitlin Burke, Tres Evans, Mark Secker
St. Raymond invites everyone to participate fully in the life of our spiritual family.

Join Our Parish Family

We welcome you wherever you are on your journey of faith.

We’d love to meet you. Perhaps you’ve never visited our church in person, or you’ve come to Mass once in a while, but are still looking for a church that feels like home. Maybe you’re a lifelong member. Is it possible you don’t even know quite what you’re looking for?

We encourage you to join us for one of our weekly Masses. You’ll be welcome in our church, and will be met by friendly parishioners and our pastor who will be happy to answer any questions you have about the parish, our programs, and our community.

Grounded in faith and nourished by a vibrant and loving community, we are a Catholic parish in the heart of Silicon Valley.
